A. Choose a historical figure from this list:
Marco Polo: site 1, site 2
Henry the Navigator: site 1, site 2
Bart Dias: site 1
Vasco da Gama: site 1
Christopher Columbus: site 1
Ferdinand Magellan: site 1
B. RESEARCHING THE HISTORICAL FIGURE
You will be responsible for at least 1 slide in a presentation that includes the following items:
1. RESEARCH GUIDELINES: Describe your historical figure.
2. A Map to identify the area of importance - it should show WHERE his routes were
3. A Picture of the historical figure. You may add more than one.
4. You may add other info IF THE ABOVE GUIDELINES have been met. (see directions below)
C. CREATING YOUR SLIDE

You will create a slide that meets the above research guidelines, has a map, and a picture.
IF YOU HAVE TIME LEFT OVER: Add to your slides! You can add: more pictures, a relevant video (if less than 4 minutes), animation, and sound effects.
